Lighting

I have changed out every 12v light in the trailer to led including the florescent lights. Those now have 4 strips of led lights. The majority of the lights had 921 and 194 push in bulbs. There are over 40 of these in this trailer! I bought led replacements for $1 each on ebay with free, sloooow shipping. I won't pay $5 - $12 for these from any dealer in North America. That was in October 2013 and it is now January 2017 and I have not had 1 light burn out. We have averaged 5 months use per year so far so, some of them are getting lots of use.
I have added strips on the roof of the main storage area that activate when the standard light is turned on. No more searching in the dark! I have strips under the trailer lighting up the stairs and colored strips for more ambiance at night. Here are pictures of some of them. If you do much boon-docking, swapping incandescent lights to led is a must because they use very little power and will last forever.
